August 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Although this month has only just started, I was a little late with creating my Bullet Journal setup for August.
It’s super hot here this time of the year. For July I decided to go with a colorful flower theme. For this month I wanted to do a fruity theme to keep up with the summery vibe!

As you can see, I decided to go with watermelons, and it’s maybe a lot, but who cares, hahaha.
I had this cute watermelon washi tape lying around for a while now, and I decided this was the perfect opportunity to use it.

For my cover page I decided to paint watermelon tranches with Ecoline liquid watercolors. The colors are so vibrant and I quite like how it turned out. However, I should really practice with watercolors a lot more.

For my monthly setup I decided to go with the same color scheme.
I used Tombow Twintone Markers to write the title and for drawing out the grid calendar.
I used the same Ecoline liquid watercolors to paint different sized of watermelon pieces around it.

As for my vertical monthly calendar and my habit and mood tracker, I haven’t changed a lot.
This layout works really well for me.
As you can see, I used two different types of watermelon washi tape to decorate the pages a little, and again I used the Tombow Twin Tone Markers in combination with a black fineliner to write the titles.

So that was it for now, guys.
I’ll be posting my weekly spreads for the month of August soon.

What does your August Bullet Journal setup look like?
