As I told you in one of my previous posts, I’m doing the 30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge by Young and Raw and I’d like to share my journey towards a more healthy life with you.
I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m really surprised by the flavors and combinations of fruits and vegetables.
So far, I’ve managed to drink one smoothie a day without skipping.
1. Green Dream Pineapple Smoothie ♥♥♥
First smoothie! I was kinda nervous to taste, as I never drank green smoothies before, but I was so surprised by the flavor!
This smoothie was made with pineapple, lettuce, lime and cilantro.
It wasn’t my favorite combination, but it tasted pretty good.
2. Berry Blast Smoothie ♥♥♥
I really liked this second smoothie consisting out of blueberries, strawberries and cucumber. Flavors were more in balance for me.
3. Banana Soother Smoothie ♥♥♥♥
This week, this one was my absolute favorite smoothie! I love banana’s but was a bit nervous about how it would taste, because I added Chinese kale. But it was DELICIOUS. I think I’ll make this one more often.
4. Mango Mint Digestion Booster ♥♥♥
I really liked this one too. The combination of mango, celery and mint is surprisingly good!
5. Banana Berry Energy Smoothie ♥♥♥
Last, but not least: the Banana Berry Energy Smoothie. I was really looking forward to making this one, because come on: banana’s and berries <3. It was very yum, but in the end I think I like the Banana Soother Smoothie most.
